From Aeronautical Engineer to Brand Marketing Genius
I’m Jamsheed Junaidy – an Aeronautical Engineer turned Entrepreneur, Founder of Firstclusive (Firstclusive Branding Pvt. Ltd.) and a Brand Marketing Expert who believes that businesses don’t fail, their branding and marketing make them invisible.
I’m an Indian, born on 28th July 1989 in Hyderabad – then Andhra Pradesh, now Telangana State. I am a Leo, which probably explains my confidence, obsession with perfection and why I refuse to blend in.
How a Computer Geek Became a Branding & Marketing Pro
I wasn’t your typical 90s kid. While my friends were outside perfecting bicycle stunts and cricket shots, I was inside perfecting Ctrl+Z (because undo was my only hope).
I had zero interest in sports but unlimited curiosity for computers. While other kids fought over who gets to be Sachin Tendulkar, I was busy figuring out why Windows 98 took an eternity to boot up.
My First Love? Computers. My First Crime? Pirating Photoshop.
Back in the early 2000s, buying Photoshop legally wasn’t an option. Who had a credit card at 13? So, like every other broke teenager with big dreams, I went on a Photoshop Heist.
Step one: Google “Adobe Photoshop full version free download.” (Because obviously, hackers use Google.)
Step two: Land on a shady website with more pop-ups than useful information.
Step three: Download the file (along with bonus malware I didn’t ask for).
Step four: Disable antivirus because it kept “mistakenly” deleting my cracked software.
Step five: Open Photoshop, only to realise it’s in Russian and the “Save” button doesn’t work.
Step six: Repeat the process until I finally found a version that worked.
And that’s how I successfully became a self-taught graphic designer.
At first, my designs were so bad, they looked like rejected toothpaste brand logos. But I didn’t stop. Trial, error, crash, repeat. Slowly, I started improving. I discovered the magic of layers, the pain of the pen tool and the soul-crushing experience of losing hours of work because I forgot to save By the time I was in college, I was getting paid to design logos and marketing materials. That’s when I realised; branding isn’t just about a logo. It’s about perception, trust and strategy. I didn’t just want to create designs. I wanted to build brands that mattered.
Cracking Job Interviews Like a Pro (But Never Joining)
After completing my B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering from MLR Institute of Technology (MLRIT, affiliated to JNTU, Hyderabad), I decided to test the corporate world. Not because I wanted a job but just to see if I could get one. Turns out, it was too easy. I got job offers from Amazon, Tech Mahindra, Synchrony Financial, Apollo Healthstreet, Wipro, TCS and even Google.
HR Interview – The Final Round Showdown at Amazon
HR: What does your name mean?
Me: King. Jamsheed means King.
HR: Oh? Do you feel like one?
Me: I don’t feel like one. I am one. (HR raises an eyebrow)
HR: What if we don’t select you?
Me: Then I guess I’ll have to settle for Google or Microsoft.
HR: …You’re hired.
My Short-Lived Corporate Adventures (How I Became a Legend in HR Files)
I joined Amazon for fun, got my first salary and absconded. (My ID is still floating around in their system like a ghost employee.) Later, I walked into Mahindra Satyam (now Tech Mahindra) for my joining day. Sat through half a day of onboarding, fake smiles and endless paperwork. Then came the moment, they started calling new joinees one by one to submit their documents and certificates. I was in line, holding my documents, waiting for my turn. HR was busy checking forms, nodding seriously, stamping papers. Everything was moving in slow motion.
And then… I disappeared. One moment, I was there. The next? A blur, a streak of motion, an unsolved mystery. Poof. Gone. Like Superman. Some say HR is still waiting for me to submit my paperwork. Haha. That was enough proof – I wasn’t made for a 9-to-5. I was made to break rules, build brands and keep HR on their toes.
The Birth of Firstclusive
In 2011, I was just a guy with a laptop, an internet connection and a dream (plus an illegally downloaded version of Photoshop – but let’s keep that between us). I freelanced under my own name, designing logos, building websites and figuring out how to make brands look expensive without actually being expensive.
At one point, I had a realisation. I wasn’t just designing logos. I was crafting identities, telling stories and making people trust brands. And businesses weren’t just paying me for design, they were paying me for strategy. By 2014, calling myself “Jamsheed Junaidy – One Man Army” wasn’t exactly scalable. So, I did what every self-respecting entrepreneur does. I gave myself a fancy business name. Firstclusive Webworks was born, which, let’s be honest, was just me, my graphic designer Shiva Krishna and a single table. Yep, that’s right. Two guys, one table and a shared obsession to satisfy clients.
As a matter of fact, Shiva designed the first-ever Firstclusive logo and after 10 years, he’s still with us, designing, creating and probably judging my colour choices. We went from that tiny table to running Firstclusive Technologies, expanding into digital marketing and web development. And in 2023, I went full corporate superhero mode and made it official – Firstclusive Branding Pvt. Ltd.
From two guys and a table to a full-fledged branding powerhouse. Not bad for someone who started by cracking Photoshop, huh? At Firstclusive, me and my team, don’t just design logos. We build brands that people remember. Most businesses don’t need more ads, they need better branding and marketing. If your brand
isn’t making money, it’s not an ad problem. It’s a perception problem.

I also create YouTube content – vlogs, tutorials, tech updates and brutally honest reviews. Not a full-time YouTuber, but when I post, I make sure it’s insightful, no-nonsense and straight to the point.
People Who Actually Know Their Stuff (Just Like Me, Obviously)
Neil Patel (USA): The guy who made SEO famous before Google made it confusing. If SEO had a father, it’d be him.
Gary Vaynerchuk (GaryVee) (USA): Talks faster than most people can think. Branding, marketing, hustle – he’s got it all. Also, probably runs on pure caffeine.
Harsh Agrawal (India): Turned ShoutMeLoud into an SEO goldmine. If blogs were currencies, this guy would be printing money.
Rand Fishkin (USA): Built Moz, shaped SEO, and now helps businesses rank higher than your ex’s Instagram stories.
Sorav Jain (India): One of India’s top digital marketing brains. If marketing were a game, he’d be playing in God mode.
Huda Kattan (UAE): Started with a beauty blog, turned it into a billion-dollar empire. Proof that content (when done right) is more powerful than any ad campaign.
Ankur Warikoo (India): Entrepreneur, storyteller and personal finance guru. If knowledge was a currency, he’d be on Forbes’ richest list.
Jamsheed Junaidy (India): And then there’s me. Same league, same expertise, just with better humour.
Follow them if you want to learn. Follow me if you want to laugh, learn and earn. Wink wink.
My Philosophy – What I Believe In
Your logo isn’t your brand. It’s just the sticker on the Ferrari. Make sure there’s an engine under the hood. Running ads without branding is like proposing on the first date. Too soon, buddy! SEO isn’t magic. It’s just making Google understand your website without confusing it. Your business doesn’t fail because of competition. It fails because no one remembers it. A great brand doesn’t chase customers. It attracts them like a biscuit attracts a chai lover. After working with 800+ brands through Firstclusive, I’ve seen one thing – Brand Marketing isn’t an expense. It’s an investment in making your business unforgettable.
